Meet Our Veterinarians & Staff: Always at Your Service

Dr Kayla S McCrone was born in Tucson Arizona. She was the youngest of three kids and helped with her family’s scrap metal recycling facility. She rebuilt the engine in her first truck and is extremely mechanical. She has always loved animals of all shapes and sizes, forever catching feral cats to tame, alter and rehome and doctoring any injured animal she came across.

She decided to step away from her family business to pursue her forever dream- to become a veterinarian. She went to undergrad at the University of Arizona where she achieved her Bachelors of Pre- Professional Animal Science. She then became one of the first graduating Class at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. She then moved to Lemoore California where she worked part time at Emergency Clinics in Fresno, and slowly built Valley Veterinary Services. This service quickly became popular with her big heart, compassion and willingness to work all hours to help an animal in need.

In her (limited) free time she doesn’t forget her background and has some project Corvettes she rebuilds, rides her horses and plays with her three Belgian Malinois. She also teams up with her boy friend in operating Outlaw Showpigs where they breed and raise quality show pigs for the local 4H, FFA and Jackpot kids. She enjoys helping the community and can always be found pitching in wherever help is needed.

Bayley was born in Sterling, Illinois. Her dad is a Command Sargent Major in the Army, so she has also lived in Missouri, Tennessee, Kentucky, Texas and now California. She aspires to be a large animal veterinarian (primarily horses) and joined Valley Veterinary Services in 2018 as our first Veterinary Assistant! She has four dogs, two horses and competes in high school rodeo. Her favorite animals are horses, cows, dogs and pigs. Her favorite animals to work on are all livestock and she hates working on snakes! She has a younger brother who also rodeos, and her family has moved multiple times with the Army, and each time the family loads up their dogs and horses to each new military assignment.
Celina was born in Fresno, California. She is the youngest of four and has three older brothers. She has worked as an emergency veterinary technician for over three years, before she joined our team. She loves exotic and small animal medicine and is learning every day about large animal medicine. Her favorite species to work on are exotics and she hates working on pigs! She has several exotic pets, a dog and a cat at home. She may be little, but growing up with four bigger brothers, she is one tough cookie!
Jon was born in Hanford, California. He has 5 dogs, 7 cats, birds, bearded dragons, snakes, and fish! His favorite animals are sloths and red pandas. He has two children, a son named Maverick and a daughter named Karsyn and loves dad life and playing with his kids. A cool fact about him is he has a twin sister! When asked what his goals for veterinary medicine are, his enthusiastic response was: “Save all fur babies!”
